  1. Provide 250 gm or 1 cup of Daal mash (soaked and boiled with salt).
  2. You need 5 to 6 of Cloves.
  3. Take 1/4 cup of Oil or ghee.

  5. Get 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic crushed.

  13. Provide 2 tbsp of Ginger julian cut for garnishing.

Steps to make Daal Mash:

  1. In a pan heat oil or ghee, add cloves and black peppercorns..
  2. After 1 minutes add chopped onion and fry till golden,now add ginger garlic crushed fry for a minute.
  3. Add grinded tomatoes,cover and cook till ghee separates, now add green chilies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt cook well..
  4. When masala completely cooked and oil comes on a surface then add boiled daal,add some water and cook for 5 minutes on low flame,.
  5. Garnish with Julian ginger and chillies,.
  6. Serve with chapati..
