- You need 1 cup of matar/white peas.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 3 tbsp of oil.
- Provide 1 tsp of cumin seeds.

Instructions to make Matar chaat:
- Soak the matar /White peas with water overnight..
- Remove water after soaking..
- Boil the matar in pressure cooker, close the lid and cook it on medium flame until 3/4 whistles..
- Turn off the flame and let it cool..
- Take a kadhai, add oil, hing, cumin seeds, green chili, chopped onions and saute on medium flame..
- Then add ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes and saute until the oil separate...
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and saute until the oil separates..
- Then add cooked matar, salt mix well and cooked..
- Cook on low flame for 5minutes..
- Turn off the flame afterthick consistency..
- Add garam masala and mix well..
- Place the matar curry on a plate..
- Top it with green chutney, tamarind chutney, chat masala, blacksalt, black pepper powder, grated coconut, chopped onions, whisked curd, papdi, sev, chopped green chili, and chopped coriander leaves..
- Matar chat is ready to eat..
