The ingredients needed to prepare Matar Paneer:
- Get 250 grams of paneer cut into cubes.
- Use 2 of onion large (roughly chopped).
- Provide 3 of large tomatoes (roughly chopped).
- Prepare 1 inch of ginger.
- Take 6-7 of garlic cloves.
- Use 3 tsp of Oil.
- Use to taste of Salt.
- You need 1/4 tsp of Turmeric.
- You need 1 tsp of coriander powder.
- Provide 1/2 tsp of red chill powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of garam masala.
- Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
- You need 1 inch of cinnamon stick.
- Prepare 2 of cloves.
- Take 1/2 tsp of jeera.
- Get 1/4 tsp of Kasuri methi.
- Get 1 bowl of peas.
- Take as needed of Water.
- Prepare of Some coriander leaf for garnishing.
Steps to make Matar Paneer:
- Grind the all veggies (onion, tomato, ginger, garlic) make a fine paste.. Heat oil in the pan splutter jeera, bay leaf, cloves and cinnamon stick..put the grind paste and cook will till oil sperates frm it..
- Add all the spices (Turmeric, red chilli,coriander powder & salt) mix and cook well.
- Now add kasuri methi and green peas cook them for few minutes..
- Add water and adjust the consistency and bring them boil. Now add paneer cubes cover it for 10 mins on high flame.(till paneer absorbed all the flavors)..
- Finally add garam masala and cook it again for 5 minutes.. serve hot with roti or rice. Taste is yummy 😋.
- Note: 1- you can also add (deep or shallow) fry paneer as per your taste. 2- if you want some sweetness add 1 tsp sugar it'll inhance the flavors..
