- Take the mango and cut into cubes. Wash them well..
- Take water in a pan. Add the mango cubes, pinch of turmeric powder and salt. Boil them for 7-8 minutes or till the mango becomes little soft..
- Add sugar and cook for another 2 minutes. Next add red chilli powder, mix well and cook for a minute. Remove from the flame and keep aside..
- Heat oil in another pan. Add panch phoron, dry chiilli, garlic and curry leaves. Saute for few seconds. Next add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, hing and saute for 2-3 minutes..
- Now add the mango mix and cook on a low flame for 5-6 minutes till the consistency becomes thicker..
- Add grated coconut, mix well and cook for a minute..
- Finally add roasted cumin powder and turn off the flame..
