The ingredients needed to make Matar Chuda:

  1. Prepare 2 cups of Flattened rice/poha.
  2. Provide 1 cup of Green peas (boiled).
  3. Provide 2 tbsp of + 1 tbsp Ghee.
  4. You need 1 tsp of Cumin seeds/jeera.
  5. Get 2 tbsp of Ginger grated.
  6. You need 2 tbsp of Chura matar masala.
  7. Provide 1 1/2 tsp of salt or to taste.
  8. You need 1/2 tsp of Sugar.
  9. Provide 5 tbsp of Green coriander chopped.

Steps to make Matar Chuda:

  1. Transfer the flattened rice/poha to a colander and wash with plenty of water. Leave it in the colander..
  2. In the meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a wok/kadai, add cumin seeds let them turn light golden. Add the ginger and sauté till they also turn slightly golden..
  3. Add the peas and mix. Fluff up the poha with a fork and add it to the peas mixture..
  4. Sprinkle salt and the chura matar masala, mix well. Finally add the sugar, green coriander and 1 tbsp of melted ghee. Give it a nice toss and serve hot with tea..
