  1. Provide of Small onions.
  2. Take of Shallots.
  3. Take of Salt.
  4. Prepare of Pickling vinegar.

Steps to make Pickled Onions:

  1. Put the onions in a bowl.
  2. Cover with boiling water from the kettle.
  3. After a minute rinse under cold water... then fill the bowl with cold water....
  4. Peal the onions if you need a knife use stainless steel so they don’t go brown.
  5. Cover the onions in salt to drive out some of the moisture that can dilute the vinegar I left them like this overnight in the fridge.
