  1. You need 1/2 litre of full cream milk.
  2. Get 1 cup of fresh mango pulp.
  3. Provide 100 grams of paneer (grated).
  4. Get 1/2 cup or as per taste of sugar.
  5. Get 1/4th cup of milk powder (optional).

  1. Take a kadai & boil the milk. When the milk comes to boil, add the mango pulp to it & cook it well on a high flame..
  2. Keep stirring occasionally so that the milk doesn't sticks to the bottom of the pan. Slowly and gradually you will notice that the milk has started curdling. Cook it for 8 mins. more, then add sugar and mix everything well..
  3. Keep it stirring continuously. After some time you will notice that the water has started drying up. At that point of time, add the grated paneer and mix everything well again. Then add some milk powder and cook until it oil starts leaving from the pan. Finally add a pinch of elaichi powder. When the mixture starts gathering, remove it from the flame..
  4. Now grease a mould or a tray with some ghee. Put the kalakand mixture to it and spread it evenly. Now for garnishing spread some pistachios over it and gently press it. Keep it in a refrigerator for about an hour or two. Then cut them into pieces of your desired size and serve them chilled...
