  1. Prepare 500 gms of peas (matar).

  1. Wash rice and soak.
  2. Peel and cut vegetables.
  3. Heat oil and add garam masalay till aroma comes. Add onions and fry till light brown.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for few sec and add dahi and salt green chillies and cook.
  5. Add aalo and fry for few sec then add peas and add some water to cook.
  6. When potatoes and peas are tender then add 1-1/2 glass water and cook when boil comes add soaked rice and cook taste salt if less add more.
  7. Cook till water is dry and rice cooked, put on dum for few mins.
  8. Can be served with chutney, raita, achar, fried fish, chicken, kababs..
