- Use 2 Cups of : Fresh fenugreek leaves.
- Get 1 Cup of : Tomato Pureed.
- Take 1 tbsp of : Garlic ginger chilli paste.
- Take 1 tsp of : salt.
- Get 1/2 cup of : Green Peas.
- Take 1/2 Cup of : Paneer/Tofu Cubed.
- Use 1 tbsp of : Ghee/Clarified Butter.
- Prepare 1 tsp of : red chilli powder.
- Get 1/4 tsp of : Turmeric Powder.
- Get 1 tsp of : Coriander Powder.
- Use 1/4 tsp of : Garam Masala.
Instructions to make Methi Mutter Paneer:
- In a non stick pan, add ghee, roast the tofu/Paneer cubes untill light golden from outside..
- Now in leftover ghee, add ginger garlic paste, green chillies and saute well..
- Add tomato pureed and cook untill ghee seperates pan..
- Now add finely chopped/pureed fenugreek leaves and mix well..
- Add salt and green peas and cover to cook..
- Add dry spices and 1/2 cup water and cook with the lid on until gravy is cooked well and ghee comes on top..
- Now pour the gravy in serving dish and put cubed paneer/tofu on top..
- You can also add fresh cream to lighten the flavours. I havent added to keep it low fat and it was absolutely delicious..
